Yoga is what we called and practised "Physical Education" in the sixties.
Seeing the pics posted by Prof Boramy Sou reminds me of what that was called "physical education" when I was at junior high in the sixties. We practised regularly, usually scheduled in early morning -- on football or basket ball grounds or running around the football ground -- two days a week. It was then part of school sports curriculum.
Before, I just read the word "yoga" in books, newspapers, on Operation Walk (organization) website and heard an American friend of mine tell me. Just when seeing these pics that I know "yoga" is what we called "education physique" or "physical education" in English.
